Kids Ministry Nurturing Faith in Our Youngest Members
At Temple Baptist Church, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith. Our Kids Ministry offers a variety of programs designed to teach biblical principles in a fun and engaging way, ensuring that even our youngest members feel welcomed and valued.
Nursery
Our nursery provides safe, clean, and fun child-care for babies and young children up to 3 years old. Each volunteer worker has been vetted by the church and is under the direction of our Nursery Supervisor. Children may only be picked up by those who you approve to take them out of the nursery. If there is a concern regarding your child during a service, you will be contacted directly through a nursery pager. The nursery is available to all families attending Sunday School and/or any adult service.
Sunday School
At TBC everybody can join a class tailored to their age during Sunday School! Groups for kids range from 2-3 years old to 5-6th graders. Each class is taught by a church member who uses a prearranged curriculum that is followed by all elementary ages, giving you the ability to review together with your children during the week. Speak to a greeter or usher to get directions to the classes that will fit your children.
Junior Church
Junior church is split into two groups. The first is for ages 4-5, and the second for grades 1st-4th. Both groups meet during the morning service once the kids are dismissed right before the message. A junior church time usually includes singing, trivia, and an age-appropriate Bible lesson taught by volunteer teachers using a pre-selected curriculum. Kids who attend Junior Church will need to be picked up by their parents after the worship service ends.
Master Clubs
Master Clubs is our Wednesday night program starting at 6:45 pm during the school year. It is designed for children in 4-6th grade. Your child will be able to participate in activities, group projects, Bible memory, games, and Biblical teaching throughout the evening. Our Master Clubs program is intended to challenge your child socially, physically, and spiritually.
